กองทัพบกแจงเหตุการณ์นักท่องเที่ยวกัมพูชาเข้าทำกิจกรรมในพื้นที่ปราสาทตาควายพร้อมชี้แจงสร้างความเข้าใจ ให้งดการแสดงออกเชิงสัญลักษณ์ในพื้นที่
กองทัพบกได้รับรายงานจากกองกำลังสุรนารี โดยกองร้อยทหารพรานที่ 2602 เมื่อวันที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2568 เวลาประมาณ 13.00 น. พบคณะนักท่องเที่ยวชาวกัมพูชาจำนวนประมาณ 30 คน เดินทางเข้ามายังบริเวณปราสาทตาควาย ตำบล บักได อำเภอ พนมดงรัก จังหวัด สุรินทร์ โดยได้มีการบันทึกภาพ วิดีโอ และร่วมร้องเพลงในพื้นที่ดังกล่าว ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่ทหารฝ่ายไทยได้เข้าระงับเหตุการณ์อย่างสุภาพและเหมาะสม พร้อมทั้งเข้าเจรจาอธิบายด้วยเหตุผล เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจ โดยชี้แจงให้ทราบว่า การแสดงออกเชิงสัญลักษณ์ในพื้นที่ดังกล่าว ไม่สอดคล้องกับแนวทางและข้อตกลงร่วมกัน ที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายเคยหารือไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ จึงขอความร่วมมือให้งดเว้นพฤติกรรมในลักษณะเช่นนี้ โดย คณะนักท่องเที่ยวกัมพูชาได้แสดงความเข้าใจและยุติกิจกรรมโดยสมัครใจ ก่อนเดินทางกลับจากพื้นที่ โดยใช้เวลาอยู่ในบริเวณดังกล่าวประมาณ 20 นาที เหตุการณ์เป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยและยังสามารถพูดคุยในบรรยากาศที่ดีตามแนวทางความร่วมมือที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายยึดถือร่วมกัน
ทั้งนี้ตามข้อตกลงร่วมกันระหว่างฝ่ายไทยและกัมพูชา พื้นที่ปราสาทตาควายสามารถ จัดเจ้าหน้าที่ทหารที่ไม่พกพาอาวุธเข้ามาอำนวยความสะดวกให้กับประชาชนที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่ปราสาทได้
The Royal Thai Army Clarifies Cambodian Tourist Incident at Ta Kwai Temple, Urges Restraint from Symbolic Expressions in the Area.
The Royal Thai Army (RTA) received a report from Suranaree Task Force through the 2602nd Ranger Company on 18 June, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM, regarding approximately 30 Cambodian tourists who entered Ta Kwai Temple area in Bakdai Sub-district, Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province. The group was observed taking photographs, recording videos, and singing within the premises. Thai military personnel promptly intervened in a courteous and appropriate manner, engaging in diplomatic dialogue to foster mutual understanding.
Officials explained that such symbolic expressions in the area were inconsistent with previously established guidelines and mutual agreements between Thailand and Cambodia, requesting cooperation to refrain from such activities. The Cambodian tourist group demonstrated understanding and voluntarily ceased their activities before departing the area after approximately 20 minutes.
The incident concluded peacefully, with discussions conducted in a positive atmosphere consistent with the cooperative framework upheld by both sides. In accordance with the bilateral agreement between Thailand and Cambodia, Ta Kwai Temple area permits the deployment of unarmed military personnel to facilitate services for civilians visiting the historical site.
