ทบ. เผยสถานการณ์ช่องบกคลี่คลาย หลังฝ่ายกัมพูชาเจรจากับกองกำลังสุรนารี โดยเห็นชอบการปรับการวางกำลังเพื่อลดการเผชิญหน้า พร้อมกลบคูเลตกลับไปสู่สภาพเดิม เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศที่เกื้อกูลต่อการประชุม JBC ใน 14 มิ.ย. 68
วันนี้ (8 มิ.ย.68) พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก เปิดเผยว่า ฝ่ายกัมพูชา โดย พลโท สรัย ดึก รองผู้บัญชาการทหารบก และผู้บัญชาการกองพลสนับสนุนที่ 3 ได้เชิญฝ่ายทหารไทย นำโดย พลตรี สมภพ ภาระเวช ผู้บัญชาการกองกำลังสุรนารี พร้อมด้วย พลตรี ณัฏฐ์ ศรีอินทร์ รองแม่ทัพภาคที่ 2 เข้าร่วมหารือ เพื่อเจรจาเกี่ยวกับกรณีปัญหาการรุกล้ำดินแดนในพื้นที่บริเวณช่องบก
จากการหารือเบื้องต้น ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้บรรลุข้อตกลงในประเด็นสำคัญ คือ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นชอบการปรับการวางกำลังเพื่อลดการเผชิญหน้า พร้อมทั้งกลบคูติดต่อ(คูเลต) กลับไปสู่สภาพเดิม ก่อนเกิดเหตุไฟไหม้ศาลาตรีมุขเมื่อวันที่ 28 ก.พ. 68 เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศที่เกื้อกูลต่อการประชุม JBC ใน 14 มิ.ย. 68 ซึ่งเป็นช่องทางในการหารือแนวทางบริหารจัดการพื้นที่ชายแดนอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องร่วมกันที่จะใช้ กลไกคณะกรรมการชายแดน
ส่วนท้องถิ่น เป็นช่องทางหารือการแก้ไขปัญหาระดับพื้นที่อย่างต่อเนื่องในอนาคต
RTA Reveals Chong Bok Situation has De-escalated Following Cambodian Negotiations with Suranaree Task Force, Agreeing to Withdraw Troops to the Original Positions and Fill Trenches to Original Condition.
Today (8 June 2025), Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army Spokesperson, revealed
that the Cambodian side, led by Lieutenant General Saray Dek, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army and Commander of the 3rd Support Division, invited the Thai military delegation, led by Major General Somphop Parawej, Commander of Suranaree Task Force, along with Major General Nutt Sriin, Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Area, to discuss matter regarding the territorial encroachment issue in Chong Bok area.
From the initial discussion, both sides have reached an important agreement: the Cambodian military has agreed to readjust their forces back to their original deployment positions prior to Trimukh Pavilion fire incident on 28 February 2025, to create a conducive atmosphere for the JBC meeting on 14 June 2025, which serves as a channel for discussing appropriate and sustainable management approaches for the area.
The Cambodian side expressed willingness to proceed with filling in the trenches to restore them to their original natural condition as proposed by the Thai side to reduce tensions and create a cooperative environment.
Lastly, both sides have agreed to utilize the Local Border Committee mechanism as a channel for ongoing discussions to resolve area-level issues in the future.
