ผอ.JIC ขอบคุณสหรัฐฯ–“ทรัมป์” หนุนสันติภาพไทย–กัมพูชา ย้ำยึดสันติวิธี เคารพอธิปไตย หวังเขมรร่วมลดตึงเครียด
เมื่อวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม 2569 พลอากาศเอก ประภาส สอนใจดี ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ข่าวสารสถานการณ์ไทย–กัมพูชา (JIC) กล่าวถึงข้อความของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 1 ปีของข้อตกลงสันติภาพกัวลาลัมเปอร์ว่า ประเทศไทยขอขอบคุณสหรัฐอเมริกา รวมถึงประธานาธิบดีโดนัลด์ ทรัมป์ ตลอดจนมาเลเซียและทุกฝ่ายที่มีบทบาทอย่างสร้างสรรค์ในการสนับสนุนสันติภาพระหว่างไทยกับกัมพูชา
ประเทศไทย ยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นในการแก้ไขปัญหาด้วยสันติวิธี ผ่านการเจรจาและกลไกที่ทั้งสองประเทศตกลงร่วมกัน โดยยึดหลักกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ เคารพอธิปไตยและบูรณภาพแห่งดินแดน ให้ความสำคัญกับความปลอดภัยของประชาชน และดำเนินการด้วยความจริงใจระหว่างกัน
ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยหวังว่ากัมพูชาจะให้ความร่วมมือในการสร้างบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการลดความตึงเครียด เพื่อให้ทั้งสองประเทศเพื่อนบ้านสามารถอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติได้อย่างยั่งยืน

26 October 2026 – Air Chief Marshal Praphas Sonjaidee, Director of the Thailand–Cambodia Joint Information Center (JIC), commented on the statement issued by the United States Department of State marking the first anniversary of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accords.He expressed Thailand’s appreciation to the United States, including President Donald Trump, as well as Malaysia and all parties that have played constructive roles in supporting peace between Thailand and Cambodia.
Thailand reaffirms its firm commitment to resolving differences through peaceful means, dialogue, and mutually agreed bilateral mechanisms, in accordance with international law, with full respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, due regard for the safety of civilians, and a spirit of mutual sincerity.
Thailand also hopes that Cambodia will cooperate in fostering an environment conducive to de-escalation, enabling the two neighboring countries to coexist peacefully and sustainably.
