วันนี้ (7 ธันวาคม 2568) พล.ต.ท.ยิ่งยศ เทพจำนงค์ ผู้ช่วยผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ ในฐานะโฆษกสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ เปิดเผยว่า พล.ต.อ.กิตติ์รัฐ พันธุ์เพ็ชร์ ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ (ผบ.ตร.) สั่งการด่วนให้สถานีตำรวจในพื้นที่แนวชายแดนของ 4 จังหวัด ได้แก่ บุรีรัมย์ สุรินทร์ ศรีสะเกษ และอุบลราชธานี ช่วยอพยพประชาชนสู่พื้นที่ปลอดภัย หลังจากช่วงบ่ายวันนี้มีความเคลื่อนไหวสำคัญที่ชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา ฝ่ายกัมพูชาได้เปิดฉากยิงในพื้นที่บริเวณภูผาเหล็ก – พลาญหินแปดก้อน ทำให้ฝ่ายให้ต้องโต้ตอบ เกิดการยิงปะทะกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทางกองทัพภาคที่ 2 ประเมินว่าสถานการณ์ยังมีความไม่แน่นอน แนวโน้มที่การปะทะอาจขยายวงกว้าง จึงขอให้ประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่แนวชายแดนดังกล่าวอพยพ
โฆษกสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ กล่าวว่า ผบ.ตร.กำชับให้ตำรวจทุกหน่วยโดยเฉพาะตำรวจตระเวนชายแดน (ตชด.) และตำรวจภูธร (ภ.จว.) ทั้ง 4 จังหวัด เตรียมพร้อมกำลัง 100 % พร้อมร่วมยุทธการสนับสนุนกองทัพในภารกิจรักษาอธิปไตยทันทีที่มีการร้องขอ ขณะเดียวกันให้ดำเนินการตามแผนพิทักษ์พื้นที่ส่วนหลังดูแลความปลอดภัยในชีวิตและทรัพย์สินของประชาชน พร้อมทั้งอำนวยการการจราจรในพื้นที่ดังกล่าวเพื่อให้การดำเนินยุทธการ และการสัญจรของพี่น้องประชาชนเป็นไปโดยสะดวก
ROYAL THAI POLICE ORDERS URGENT EVACUATION IN BORDER PROVINCES; DECLARES FULL READINESS TO SUPPORT DEFENSE OPERATIONS
BANGKOK, THAILAND – December 7, 2025 – Police Lieutenant General Yingyos Thepjumnong, Assistant Commissioner General, Spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police, addressed the media today regarding the developing security situation along the northeastern border. He announced that Police General Kittharath Punphetch, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, has issued an urgent directive to all police units in Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket, and Ubon Ratchathani to immediately mobilize and facilitate the evacuation of civilians to designated safety zones.
The directive follows a significant escalation this afternoon in the Phu Pha Lek and Phlan Hin Paet Kon operational areas in Si Sa Ket Province. According to official reports, Cambodian forces initiated fire, prompting a necessary retaliatory response from the Thai side to defend national sovereignty. The Second Army Area has assessed the current situation as highly volatile with a potential for the conflict zone to expand, necessitating the immediate relocation of residents from the affected border districts.
Police Lieutenant General Yingyos stated that the Commissioner General has ordered the Border Patrol Police and Provincial Police in the four specified provinces to maintain 100% operational readiness. These units are tasked with a dual mandate: to stand ready to join the Royal Thai Army in defense operations immediately upon request, and to rigorously secure the rear areas. This includes deploying patrols to protect the homes and property of evacuated citizens and managing traffic flow to ensure that military convoys and emergency vehicles can move without obstruction.
The Spokesperson also requested cooperation from the public. He urged both Thai citizens and international residents in the region to strictly adhere to instructions from officers at checkpoints and to keep major roadways clear for official operations. Furthermore, the Royal Thai Police strongly advises against the sharing of unverified images or troop locations on social media, as such actions could compromise the safety of personnel on the ground.
“This is a unified national response. Our officers are fully deployed to conduct comprehensive rear area security. We want every citizen to know that while our troops protect the front lines, the police are protecting your homes. We ensure there is no lapse in protection; you are safe,” Police Lieutenant General Yingyos concluded.
