วันนี้ (27 พฤศจิกายน 2568) พล.ต.ต.จตุรภัทร์ ภิรมย์แก้ว รองโฆษกสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ เปิดเผยว่า จากสถานการณ์อุทกภัยรุนแรงในพื้นที่อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ซึ่งได้รับผลกระทบจากปริมาณฝนที่ตกหนักเป็นประวัติการณ์ ส่งผลให้เกิดน้ำท่วมสูงในหลายพื้นที่ และมีชาวต่างชาติกว่า 1,000 คน รวมถึงนักท่องเที่ยวชาวมาเลเซียและสิงคโปร์ ติดค้างอยู่ภายในพื้นที่ประสบภัย
สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติได้เร่งระดมกำลังเจ้าหน้าที่เข้าปฏิบัติการเพื่อช่วยเหลือ เยียวยา และอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนและชาวต่างชาติอย่างเต็มกำลัง
ผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ ได้กำชับให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจในพื้นที่ปฏิบัติการเชิงรุก โดยถือเป็นวาระเร่งด่วนในการเข้าให้ความช่วยเหลือและดูแลความปลอดภัยให้กับผู้ประสบภัย ทั้งพี่น้องประชาชนชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติที่ยังคงติดค้างอยู่ในพื้นที่ ทั้งนี้ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติได้ประสานงานอย่างใกล้ชิดกับสถานกงสุลต่างประเทศ เพื่อเฝ้าระวังสถานการณ์และให้การช่วยเหลือในทุกมิติ รวมทั้งเพิ่มมาตรการป้องกันปราบปรามอาชญากรรมที่อาจเกิดขึ้นซ้ำเติมผู้ประสบภัยในช่วงสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินนี้
นอกจากภารกิจด้านความปลอดภัย เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจยังได้ระดมสรรพกำลังและยุทโธปกรณ์เข้าสนับสนุนภารกิจร่วมกับกองทัพเรือและหน่วยกู้ภัย ในการเคลื่อนย้ายและอพยพชาวต่างชาติที่ติดค้างตามโรงแรมและสถานที่พักต่าง ๆ ไปยังพื้นที่ปลอดภัย และศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราวที่จัดตั้งขึ้น ณ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ ทั้งนี้ ได้มีการประสานงานกับสถานกงสุลต่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง อาทิ สถานกงสุลมาเลเซีย เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกด้านข้อมูลข่าวสาร การติดตามช่วยเหลือพลเมืองของแต่ละประเทศ และการจัดการด้านอื่น ๆ ที่จำเป็น เพื่อคลายความกังวลและสร้างความมั่นใจให้กับญาติมิตรของผู้ประสบภัยในต่างประเทศ
พล.ต.ต.จตุรภัทร์ฯ กล่าวว่า สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติขอยืนยันว่า ความยากลำบากจากอุทกภัยครั้งนี้จะไม่เป็นอุปสรรคต่อภารกิจของเราในการดูแลและช่วยเหลือทุกชีวิตที่ตกอยู่ในภาวะวิกฤต เราได้ผนึกกำลังเพื่อปฏิบัติการอย่างรอบด้านและต่อเนื่อง โดยให้ความสำคัญสูงสุดในความปลอดภัยของพี่น้องประชาชน รวมถึงนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ และเจ้าหน้าที่ทุกนายพร้อมยืนหยัดเคียงข้างทุกท่าน จนกว่าความมั่นคงปลอดภัยจะกลับคืนสู่พื้นที่หาดใหญ่โดยสมบูรณ์
Royal Thai Police Mobilizes to Assist and Protect Tourists and Foreign Nationals Amid Hatyai Flood Crisis
(27 November 2025) – In response to severe flooding in Hatyai District, Songkhla Province—triggered by record-breaking rainfall that has inundated several areas—the Royal Thai Police has launched an accelerated operation to assist and safeguard more than 1,000 stranded foreign nationals, including Malaysian and Singaporean tourists.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Jaturapat Bhiromkaew, Commander of Foreign Affairs Division/Deputy Spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police, stated that the National Police Chief has instructed local police units to take proactive measures, treating the situation as an urgent priority. Officers have been deployed to provide immediate support, ensure safety, and assist both Thai residents and foreigners who remain stranded in affected zones. The Royal Thai Police is also coordinating closely with foreign consulates to monitor developments, deliver comprehensive assistance, and reinforce crime-prevention efforts to protect vulnerable flood victims during this emergency.
Beyond security operations, police units have mobilized personnel and equipment to work alongside the Royal Thai Navy and rescue agencies in evacuating foreign nationals from hotels and accommodations to safe areas and temporary shelters established at Prince of Songkla University, Hatyai Campus. Close coordination is ongoing with foreign consulates—such as the Malaysian Consulate—to facilitate communication, track and support their citizens, and manage all essential needs to ease concerns among families abroad.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Jaturapat Bhiromkaew emphasized, “The Royal Thai Police reaffirms that the hardships caused by this flooding will not hinder our mission to protect and assist every individual in crisis. We have joined forces to take comprehensive and continuous action, placing utmost priority on the safety of the public, including international tourists.”
The Royal Thai Police and all officers stand ready to support everyone affected until safety and stability are fully restored in Hatyai.
