ผบ.ทอ. เยือนเพนตากอนกระชับความสัมพันธ์ สานต่อความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค
เมื่อวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2568 พลอากาศเอก พันธ์ภักดี พัฒนกุล ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ ได้เข้าพบกับ พล.อ.อ.เดวิด ดับเบิลยู อัลล์วิน เสนาธิการกองทัพอากาศสหรัฐฯ (เทียบเท่าผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ) ณ อาคารเพนตากอน รัฐเวอร์จิเนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา
ทั้งนี้กองทัพอากาศไทยและกองทัพอากาศสหรัฐฯ มีความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้น โดยมีกรอบความร่วมมือผ่านกลไกหลายระดับ นำไปสู่การพัฒนา ในด้านต่างๆ ร่วมกัน อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาทั้ง2กองทัพในอนาคตและส่งเสริมความมั่นคงในภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
ในโอกาสนี้พลอากาศเอก พันธ์ภักดี พัฒนกุล ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ ได้รับมอบเครื่องอิสริยาภรณ์ Legion of Merit (Degree of Commander) โดยมี พล.อ.อ.เดวิด ดับเบิลยู อัลล์วิน เสนาธิการกองทัพอากาศสหรัฐฯ (เทียบเท่าผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ ) เป็นตัวแทนจากรัฐบาลสหรัฐอเมริกาเป็นผู้มอบ เพื่อเชิดชูเกียรติ ในฐานะผู้นำกองทัพ ที่มีบทบาทโดดเด่นในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างไทยและสหรัฐฯ อย่างต่อเนื่องและใกล้ชิด

On August 20, 2025, Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul, Commander of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), met with General David W. Allvin, Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force (equivalent to RTAF Commander), at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., United States of America.
The Royal Thai Air Force and the United States Air Force share a strong relationship, underpinned by cooperative frameworks at multiple levels. These efforts contribute to advancements in various areas, fostering sustainable regional security.
On this occasion, Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul was awarded the Legion of Merit (Degree of Commander) by General David W. Allvin, representing the U.S. government. The honor recognizes his distinguished leadership in promoting continuous and close security cooperation between Thailand and the United States.
