ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศการเปิดประเทศรับนักท่องเที่ยวเพื่อฟื้นฟูเศรษฐกิจ รัฐบาลและสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ โดย พล.ต.อ. กิตติ์รัฐ พันธุ์เพ็ชร์ ผบ.ตร. ได้มีคำสั่ง “ขันน็อต” ขั้นเด็ดขาด สั่งยกระดับมาตรการคัดกรองและกวาดล้าง “อาชญากรข้ามชาติ” ที่แฝงตัวเข้ามาในคราบนักท่องเที่ยว เพื่อเรียกความเชื่อมั่นด้านความปลอดภัยและกู้ภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศไทยไม่ให้เป็นที่ซ่อนตัวของคนร้าย
สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองโดย พล.ต.ท.ภาณุมาศ บุญญลักษม์ ผบช.สตม., พล.ต.ต.พันธนะ นุชนารถ รอง ผบช.สตม. ขานรับนโยบายสั่งการให้ พล.ต.ต.ทรงโปรด สิริสุขะ ผบก.ตม.3 และ พ.ต.อ.หฤษฎ์ เอกอุรุ รอง ผบก.ตม.3 กำชับให้กองกำกับการสืบสวน กองบังคับการตรวจคนเข้าเมือง 3 (กก.สส.บก.ตม.3) กวนขันพื้นที่รับผิดชอบ สืบข่าวเชิงรุก
จนนำไปสู่การจับกุมอาชญากรผู้ก่อเหตุอุกฉกรรจ์ซึ่งกบดานในไทยได้จนสำเร็จปฏิบัติการครั้งนี้เริ่มขึ้นหลังจาก ชุดสืบสวน ตม.3 ได้รับเบาะแสสำคัญจากหน่วยข่าวกรองสากล ถึงการหลบหนีของ นาย N (นามสมมุติ) ชายชาวสวีเดน ผู้ต้องหาตามหมายจับคดีวางเพลิงเผาอาคารครั้งใหญ่ในเมืองแซฟเชอ (Sävsjö) ประเทศสวีเดน
โดยสายข่าวระบุชัดว่าคนร้ายรายนี้หนีเข้ามากบดานเงียบอยู่ในพื้นที่พัทยา เจ้าหน้าที่จึงระดมกำลังลงพื้นที่แกะรอยอย่างละเอียดแบบปูพรมความจริงปรากฏ เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่พบบุคคลต้องสงสัยที่มีตำหนิรูปพรรณตรงตามหมายจับเป๊ะ จึงสนธิกำลังเข้าตรวจสอบทันที เมื่อจนมุมหลักฐาน นาย N จึงยอมรับสารภาพว่าเป็นบุคคลตามหมายจับจริง และตรวจสอบพบว่าการอนุญาตให้อยู่ในราชอาณาจักรได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้ว (Overstay) เจ้าหน้าที่จึงทำการจับกุมตัวส่ง สภ.พัทยา ดำเนินคดีทันทีที่น่าตกใจคือ “ความแนบเนียน” ของคนร้ายรายนี้
จากการสืบสวนเชิงลึกพบว่า นาย N หลบเลี่ยงการจับกุมได้อย่างยาวนานด้วยเทคนิคแพรวพราว โดย ไม่ยอมใช้เอกสารสวีเดนของตัวเองเลย แต่กลับใช้ “บัตรประชาชนและใบขับขี่ปลอมของประเทศเยอรมัน” ในการเช็คอินโรงแรมและทำธุรกรรมต่างๆ เพื่ออำพรางตัวตนที่แท้จริง หวังตบตาเจ้าหน้าที่ให้หลงทาง แต่สุดท้ายก็หนีไม่พ้นสายตาของตำรวจไทย
ด้าน พล.ต.ต.ทรงโปรด สิริสุขะ เปิดเผยว่า การจับกุมครั้งนี้คือเครื่องพิสูจน์ความสำเร็จในการสนองนโยบายรัฐบาล ปราบปรามผู้มีอิทธิพลและอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม แสดงให้ทั่วโลกเห็นว่าตำรวจตรวจคนเข้าเมืองของไทย มีประสิทธิภาพและจะไม่ยอมให้ใครใช้ประเทศไทยเป็น “Safe Haven” ในการหลบหนีความผิดอย่างเด็ดขาดเบื้องต้น เจ้าหน้าที่ ตม.3 ได้ควบคุมตัวผู้ต้องหาส่งพนักงานสอบสวนดำเนินคดีข้อหา Overstay พร้อมประสานสถานทูตสวีเดนเตรียมส่งตัว “ผู้ร้ายข้ามแดน” กลับไปรับโทษสาสมที่ประเทศต้นทางต่อไป
Game Over! Immigration Div 3 Nabs Swedish “Interpol Red Notice” Arsonist in Pattaya – Caught Using Fake German ID to Evade Capture
Amidst the atmosphere of reopening the country to tourists to stimulate the economy, the Government and the Royal Thai Police, led by Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, have issued a strict “tightening of the screws” order. The directive calls for elevated screening measures and a crackdown on “Transnational Criminals” disguising themselves as tourists. This aims to build confidence in safety and restore Thailand’s image, ensuring the country does not become a hideout for criminals.
The Immigration Bureau, led by Pol. Lt. Gen. Panumat Bunyalak, Commissioner of Immigration Bureau, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Phanthana Nutchanart, Deputy Commissioner, has responded to this policy. They directed Pol. Maj. Gen. Songprot Sirisukha, Commander of Immigration Division 3, and Pol. Col. Harit Eakuru, Deputy Commander, to instruct the Investigation Sub-Division of Immigration Division 3 to strictly monitor their areas of responsibility and conduct proactive investigations. This diligence successfully led to the arrest of a heinous criminal hiding in Thailand.
The operation commenced after the Immigration Division 3 Investigation Team received critical intelligence from international agencies regarding the escape of Mr. N (alias), a Swedish national. He is a suspect wanted under an arrest warrant for a major arson incident in Sävsjö, Sweden. Intelligence indicated that the fugitive had fled to Thailand and was laying low in the Pattaya area. Consequently, officers deployed a dragnet operation to meticulously track him down.
The truth was revealed! Officers identified a suspect whose appearance perfectly matched the arrest warrant description and launched a coordinated inspection. Cornered by the evidence, Mr. N confessed to being the individual named in the warrant. Furthermore, checks revealed that his permission to stay in the Kingdom had expired (Overstay). Officers immediately arrested him and handed him over to the Pattaya Police Station for legal proceedings.
Shockingly, the investigation uncovered the suspect’s “stealthy” behavior. Mr. N had managed to evade capture for a long time using sophisticated techniques. He avoided using his Swedish documents entirely, instead using “Fake German ID cards and driving licenses” to check into hotels and conduct transactions to mask his true identity and fool authorities. However, he ultimately could not escape the watchful eyes of the Thai Police.
Pol. Maj. Gen. Songprot Sirisukha stated that this arrest is a testament to the success in concretely responding to the government’s urgent policy to suppress influential figures and transnational crime. It demonstrates to the world the efficiency of the Thai Immigration Police, who will strictly not allow criminals to use Thailand as a “Safe Haven” to evade justice.
Initially, Immigration Division 3 officers have detained the suspect and transferred him to inquiry officers to face charges of Overstaying. They are also coordinating with the Embassy of Sweden to proceed with “Extradition” procedures, sending him back to face the penalty of the law in his home country.
