วันนี้ (25 ก.ค.68) กองทัพบกโดยกรมข่าวทหารบก ได้จัดการประชุมคณะกรรมการผู้ช่วยทูตทหารต่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทย ณ ห้องรับรองกรมข่าวทหารบก ภายในกองบัญชาการกองทัพบก โดยมี พลตรี ประเสริฐ หมวดเชียงคะ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เป็นประธานในการประชุม
โดยในที่ประชุมได้มีการชี้แจงเกี่ยวกับข้อเท็จจริง กรณีสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ตั้งแต่เริ่มเกิดเหตุการณ์เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2568 เป็นต้นมา
ซึ่งหัวหน้าคณะผู้ช่วยทูตทหารต่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทยได้กล่าวแสดงความเสียใจต่อสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งที่เกิดขึ้น และขอให้สถานการณ์ดังกล่าวคลี่คลายโดยเร็ว ผ่านการเจรจาทางการทูต และระบุว่าคณะผู้ช่วยทูตทหารต่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทยพร้อมให้การสนับสนุนกองทัพบกไทยในทุกด้าน
นอกจากนี้กองทัพบกได้เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการเจรจาติดต่อสื่อสารในทุกระดับ ตั้งแต่ระดับหน่วยทหารในพื้นที่ รวมไปถึงระดับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการเจรจาในระดับรัฐบาล
ซึ่งฝ่ายไทยยังคงแสดงจุดยืนในการแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกี่ยวข้องในมิติความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีและพันธกรณีระหว่างประเทศ และให้ความสำคัญกับการเจรจาในกรอบทวิภาคีกับกัมพูชาผ่านกลไก JBC, RBC และ GBC เพื่อร่วมกันแก้ไขสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น
RTA clarified the facts regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation to the Committee of the Military Attaché Corps to Thailand.
Today (25 July 2025) at the Royal Thai Army Headquarters, the Royal Thai Army, through the Directorate of Intelligence, hosted a meeting with the Committee of Military Attaché Corps to Thailand, presided over by Major General Prasert Muadjienga, Director of the Office of External Relations, Directorate of Intelligence.
During the meeting, facts were clarified regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation since the incident began on 24 July 2025 onwards.
The dean of the committee expressed regret over the conflict and urged that the situation be resolved promptly through diplomatic negotiations, stating that the MAC-T committee is ready to support to the Royal Thai Army in all aspects.
Furthermore, the Royal Thai Army emphasized the importance of negotiations and communications at all levels, from the military unit level in the area to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs level and government-level negotiations.
The Thai side continues to maintain its position on resolving related issues within the dimensions of bilateral relations and international obligations and places importance on negotiations within the bilateral framework with Cambodia through JBC, RBC and GBC mechanisms to jointly resolve the situation that has occurred.
